I'm Katherine, and I'm a playwright/performer based in New York City.

I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, where I spent my childhood crafting robust imaginary communities for my Webkinz toys and writing torrid romantic plays to captivate my elementary school crush (to no avail). ​​I graduated from Pace University in 2023 with Bachelor's Degrees in Acting and English with a concentration in Creative Writing; through my time in undergrad I gained the tools with which to devise theatre and work collaboratively while carving out my own identity as playwright. I self-produced readings of multiple original works throughout my time at Pace, including my Honors thesis production of A Brand, A Lifestyle.

As an artist, I gravitate towards uneasiness. Works that feel unresolved. Satires where everyone learns their lesson except for the characters onstage. Conflicts where everyone is a little right and a little wrong and the dissonance is palpable. ​As a person, I love being in connection with others. I'm currently a member of Under Construction Playwrights Group (The Road Theatre Company). I spend my days coaching [solidcore] and volunteering at Girls on the Run in Brooklyn.
